NCLEX

The NCLEX, or National Council Licensure Examination, is a standardized test that nurses in the United States must pass in order to obtain a nursing license. The exam is designed to assess the candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for safe and effective entry-level nursing practice. The NCLEX covers a wide range of topics, including basic principles of nursing care, health promotion and maintenance, psychosocial integrity, and physiological adaptation. The exam is computer-adaptive, meaning the difficulty of the questions adjusts based on the candidate’s responses. Passing the NCLEX is a crucial step in the licensure process for nurses and is required for practice in the US.
